The prominent Philippine makeup artist and fashion stylist Fanny Serrano, 74, died Tuesday night. He had been suffering from critical health issues for over a year.
In the year 2016, he survived a stroke and also, and last year, he suffered a massive stroke once again. His celebrity friend revealed the death news on his social media before being confirmed by his own family.
“Papa died peacefully in his sleep between 8:45 to 9 p.m. last night at his residence in Morato, Quezon City, ”
“Ang prayer lang namin huwag siyang masyadong maghirap and our Lord gave that to him, the blessing of moving on in his sleep.”
Miranda praised the fans for sending prayers for her late father and for his devastating family. “Thankful ako sa lahat ng tribute. It comforts our hearts, coming from people whom he touched in his lifetime.”

Fanny’s friend and Swimwear designer Domz Ramos expressed his grief over the death of his friend. He penned down a post, sending his condolences to Fanny’s family.
“I love you Tita Fanny REST IN PEACE. Thank you for trusting me to be your stylist when I was starting in the industry. YOU WILL BE FOREVER IN MY HEART!!!!” he posted.
Fashion designer Dave Ocampo took to Facebook to post: “GOOD BYE TITA FANNY SERRANO THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORDS AND THE WORDS OF LORD JESUS YOU SHARE WITH US. YOU WILL BE MISS BY YOUR DESIGNERS CIRCLE PHILIPPINES FAMILY!! LOVE YOU TF YOU ARE A FRIEND, A MENTOR, A BROTHER TO ME. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!”
Everyone in the fashion industry revealed their concerns for the late stylist. The famous actress Sharon Cuneta shared that he was suffering from health issues.
“Hi guys, it’s me again, I’m still not feeling so well, but it’s a private thing supposedly, but I can’t, there’s no way around it. I really would just like to ask for your prayers because Tita Fanny Serrano had a massive stroke today,” Sharon posted a few months before his ultimate death.
