LaForce began her journalism career journalism at WJW Channel 8 as a sports reporter and anchor. She then worked at Sportstime Ohio as a sideline reporter. She covered the 2011 MAC men’s basketball tournament, the 2011 OHSAA basketball championships, and the 2010 Mid-American Conference’s football season.
In April 2014, she joined SEC on CBS as a sideline reporter replacing Tracy Wolfson. She was also the sideline reporter for NBA TV during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. LaForce left CBS Sports in June 2018 after they both agree on a new deal. She still appears on CBS as a reporter for March Madness.
