His mother was extremely religious and strict, and she barred him from listening to hip hop.
Higgins had a long history of drug misuse that began at a young age, and he was upfront about it. His mother said that, in addition to his drug addiction, he was suffering from anxiety and depression.
Juice Wrld had promised to go to drug rehab a few weeks before his death. At the time of his death, he was living in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Ally Lotti. In November 2018, the couple announced their relationship on Instagram.
Also, it was reported that Lotti was expecting a child at the time of Wrld’s death but unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage due to the grief she experienced.
Juice Wrld Death
Juice Wrld boarded a private Gulfstream jet flying from Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles to Midway International Airport in Chicago on December 8, 2019. Law enforcement officers were waiting for the plane to arrive after federal agents informed them, while the plane was en route, that they feared there were guns and drugs on board.
The Law enforcement officials later revealed that they discovered 32 kg of marijuana on the plane and that several members of the rapper’s management team aboard the flight told them that Juice Wrld had taken “several unknown pills,” including allegedly swallowing multiple Percocet pills to try and hide them while police searched the luggage.
Higgins then began convulsing and seizing, prompting the administration of two doses of the emergency medicine Narcan, as an opioid overdose was suspected.
Juice Wrld was taken to Oak Lawn’s Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner stated on January 22, 2020, that Higgins died as a result of toxic quantities of oxycodone and codeine in his system.
On December 13, 2019, Juice Wrld’s funeral was held at the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Harvey, Illinois. Ski Mask the Slump God and Young Thug were among those in attendance, as were friends and relatives.
