Andy Samberg is an American actor, comedian, musician, writer, and producer. He is a member of The Lonely Island, a comedy music group, and was also a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2012.
He portrayed Jake Peralta on the Fox and then NBC police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which he also created, from 2013 to 2021. In 2013, he received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his role on the show.
