Willie Nelson’s sister and bandmate Bobbie Nelson died on Thursday morning, she was 91 years.
The family says there was no cause of death she died very peacefully and was surrounded by the family before her demise.
Bobbie Nelson was a big sister to Willie Nelson, She played the piano, sings and was a regular collaborator.
Bobbie and Willie’s grandparents introduced them to music, Her grandparents inspired youngsters to take up instruments and pursue a career in music.
“My grandfather had said to me when I was learning to play the piano: You know, if you really work at this, you could earn your living playing music one day,” Bobbie once said. “And I never forgot that.”
Willie Nelson and her sister Bobbie both released books and albums together, Also they released a memoir about their relationship calling it “Me and Sister Bobbie.
Bobbie together with her brother Willie, Was No.60 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in 1997 with Hill Country Christmas.
Most of her favorite songs were released in 2007 through Justice Records, With her brother Willie contributing vocal and guitar on two songs.
