David Suapaia was just 19 years old when he was killed in Vietnam. He was killed on May 10, 1967, during the Vietnam war. He used to serve honorably in the U.S. marine corps. He was a great personality. He had been paid tribute for his bravery during the Vietnam war. Sadly, he lost his life there, but he did win many hearts. Being in a war is very dangerous, but David never got scared of those things and did his job with full responsibility.

David was born on June 3, 1947. He was from Hawaii. He entered the US Marine corps through the regular army. He also served in the Vietnam war. He held the rank of Lance corporal. He was a good rifleman, and his military occupation was also rifleman. On May 10, 1967, during the Vietnam war, David went through something horrific that cost him his life. The incident happened on mount 110, 4 km north of Que Son, Quang Nam province, southern Vietnam.

David Suapaia was buried at the pacific national memorial cemetery. David was also honored at the Vietnam veteran memorial in Washington, D.C.
