William “Bo” Hopkins, the popular American Graffiti actor passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 80. 

Best known for his roles in the “The Wild Bunch,” “Midnight Express” and “The Getaway,”, Bo led a peaceful life where he returned to acting after six long years of professional inactivity. 

William Bo Hopkins, a character actor who starred in George Lucas’ American Graffiti and the Oscar-winning film Midnight Express, died at the age of 80.

Hopkins died of a heart attack at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys. His death was verified on his official website.
