Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods has been charged following and alleged incident in Essex last August.
Carl has been charged under Section 4 of the Public Order Act and is due to appear in court in Colchester next month.
A police statement said: “A man arrested following an incident in Little Canfield, on August 23 2021, has been charged.
“Carl Woods, 33, of Dunmow Road, Little Canfield, has been charged under Section 4 of the Public Order Act.
“He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on March 10.”

In August 2021, it came to light that a man was arrested after Katie was taken to hospital following multiple facial injuries.
Soon after the news that he had been charged occurred, Carl took to Instagram to confirm he didn’t hit or coercively control her in a lengthy rant.
He said, “The papers are saying I have been charged with a public order offence. Yes I have. A public order offence is just arguing in the street and using foul language that is what I have been charged with.
“i never attacked her.”
He then continued that he has ‘black and white proof’ that he didn’t hit his fiancé, “Everything I say I have got proof of and I will show it. So everyone who is messaging me saying you attacked Katie, you did this, the truth is out. No it’s not, the truth is not out at all.”
In the background Katie interjected saying, “I have never called the police on you, never.”
At the time of the incident, Carl stuck by Katie and insisted that he had nothing to do with the alleged assault.
“I have remained quiet until now due to the investigation being carried out by the police however I have found it so difficult to keep quiet on social media due to speculation and shocking abuse that I have received,” he wrote on Instagram.

The current squeeze of former glamour model Katie Price, Carl Woods has been credited with bringing Katie out of a turbulent time when she was seeking treatment for PTSD and a well-publicised battle with drug and alcohol abuse.
“Everyone tells me she’s changed since she’s been with me and that I’ve made her happy,” he told Closer back in January. “She had been in a bad place before she met me. I knew nothing about that time in her life when we first met, but it seems she’d lost her head a few times.”

They sure are. Katie and Carl confirmed their engagement – her eighth – in April 2021, just weeks after her divorce from third husband Kieran Hayler was finalised.
“I promise you, it [the wedding] will be different and quirky. It will be nothing like she has ever done before. I wanted to do something different because I am different,” he said.
“This is the final wedding for her now, and this one’s for keeps! In five years’ time, I see us married with our own kids, in our own house with Porsches outside. We’ll have to buy a bigger house – we’d need an eight-bed!”
