Lorraine Kelly, a Scottish journalist, and television presenter, finally overcame her dread of horseback riding. She ended up in the hospital after an accident at a charity event ten years ago.

The TV celebrity was seriously hurt when the horse she was riding trod on her attempting a leap at a charity event in 2012. After losing three pints of blood, she needed four hours of emergency surgery and a blood transfusion.
Lorraine revealed that she still cannot get near a horse ten years later and that she would hate to be in the same position again. She conquered her trepidation, though, and remounted the horse. This time, however, she not only overcame her fear but also learned to ride the horse.
She also states that she is no longer afraid of horses and would like to repeat the experience.

The short film showed her meeting the horse she would be riding, Zion, with whom Sir Lee had won gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The reporter admitted that she was nervous but not as bad as expected.

Lorraine was learning to ride a horse to participate in a charity fundraiser when she fell. Despite her inability to recall much of the incident, the mother-of-one was trampled after falling from the horse.
