Lorraine is currently unchanged. However, she was severely damaged following the tragedy in 2012. After being trampled by a horse while training for a charity event, the TV host lost three quarts of blood and sustained serious injuries.

Lorraine was learning to ride a horse to participate in a charity fundraiser when she fell. Despite her inability to recall much of the incident, the mother-of-one was trampled after falling from the horse.

Lorraine showed that the tragic occurrence may have been lethal if the wound had been only millimeters on either side.
