Mark Wright is an English television personality, entertainment reporter, football pundit, and also a professional footballer who last played for EFL League Two team, Crawley Town. He is well known for his role as a cast member on The Only Way Is Essex for the first three seasons.
He rose to fame following his appearances on the eleventh series of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where he came in fourth place. Wright is also a host for Heart’s Evening Show that runs from Monday to Thursday.

Wright’s professional career started with him being a semi-professional footballer with a youth career at London clubs before appearing on The Only Way is Essex. He started his senior career with Southend United. In January 2012, it was rumored that he had resumed his semi-professional football career by joining with St Neots Town, although Wright rejected this on Twitter.
On December 14, 2020, he made his return to professional football by signing a non-contract with League Two side Crawley Town but he was released at the end of the 2020-21 season. In his media personality career, he was one of the initial cast members of the ITV reality show The Only Way is Essex, which premiered in October 2010. On the 23rd of October 2011, near the end of the third series, he announced his retirement from the show.
Later, he made a cameo appearance in the sixth season, as well as a cameo appearance in the 2012 Christmas special. In 2014 and 2016, he returned for a second time. Wright hosts the sixth season of Channel 5’s The Bachelor, which is based on the same-named US television show. He appeared as a guest on This Morning with Rochelle Humes on July 5, 2019.
