A woman who is in her 80s was discovered dead in her Mission Vijeo house Tuesday afternoon and her spouse has been arrested, as per stated by authorities on Tuesday. The demise was probed as a possible homicide, and the husband of the woman, who is also in his 80s was arrested. Sheriff’s Department officials wrote a Tweet which reads that “At the time, we do not believe there is a menace to public safety. OC Sheriff Homicide until will conduct a thorough probe to determine what happened.”
86-Year-old Man Detained In The Homicide Of Wife
During the investigation, it is found that an 86-year-old man has been detained in connection with the murder of his wife. On Wednesday (16th March 2022) Orange County Sheriff’s Department officials said that her husband is the suspect in her murder. As already mentioned above incident has happened at Via Arriaga in Mission Viejo around 01:00 PM Tuesday regarding the demise of a lady.
The husband named William Wiley was interviewed and based on the proof left at the scene, Wiley was apprehended and lodged on suspicion of murder, as stated by police officials. They had previously stated the suspect has been arrested. Sheriff’s Department officials stated in a news release sans elaborating that “Family members indicated Wiley was previously diagnosed with dementia.”
The exact cause of death of the victim is under probe and the identity of the victim is not released yet.
