Toke Makinwa, a media personality, has disclosed some of the steep costs that musician Wizkid has paid to get to where he is now.

She claims that young newcomers attempt music for a year or two and then grow dissatisfied since it isn’t working for them. She then discussed Wizkid’s narrative, indicating that he worked hard over the years to become who he is today.

During a recent interview with journalist Chude Jideonwo, she used the music sensation as an example to promote hard work while questioning today’s kids who desire to excel without putting in the effort.

“I tell folks… “ Wizkid used to carry speakers, and DJs would send him to purchase Amala, when i was at Rhythm” she explained. He was the “studio rat,” she claimed, pleading with DJs to play his tune.

People simply look at him and blame him for being “arrogant,” not realizing “the work he had put into this journey.” – She Added

Toke also used her own success as a barometer for hard effort, claiming that people can look at her now and believe she had it easy.

“But if you’ve been following my career and witnessing the hard work I’ve put in, you should ask me what I’m doing with my life if by now I’m not enjoying all that I’m experiencing now because of my hard work,” she said.,
