Crunchy Potato Recipe: How To Make Crunchy Potatoes At Home
You’ll need to start by peeling the potatoes and slicing them like French fries. Soak it in water for a while and then place it on a kitchen towel. Dry the potatoes well, make sure you remove all the moisture if you want the potatoes to be crispy. In a mixing bowl, add the sliced potatoes and season them with red chilli flakes, soy sauce, sugar, oregano and vinegar. Do not add salt or water to the potatoes, adding salt releases the moisture of the potatoes making them soggy. Next, add cornflour, maida and ajinomoto. Mix this well till the sliced potatoes are coated. Heat oil in kadhai and deep fry the potatoes till they are golden brown. The crunchy potatoes are ready!
