The Uruguayan professional footballer Ronald Araujo suffered a scary head injury during the Spanish league football match between FC Barcelona and RC Celta de Vigo on the 10th of May 2022 at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona.

Ronald clashed his head with teammate Gavi while trying to clear the ball and was rushed to the hospital after lengthy treatment on the pitch. Thankfully, the doctors have updated that the athlete is conscious and is out of danger but has to spend the night for precaution in the hospital.

Araujo is a proud dad and has a lovely family; the footballer shares a beautiful baby girl with Abigail Olivera.

Abigail and Araujo welcomed their princess Aitana in 2021, and the six months young little one celebrates her birthday on the 11th of October each passing year under the star sign Libra.

The pair seem to have been dating for a few years, but they haven’t revealed any details regarding their marital status. Although the footballer has flaunted his love life on the internet, he hasn’t shared pictures of them walking down the aisle.

So, we presume the 23 years old athlete has not yet tied the knot with his lover, which might not be the case in the future; they might have plans they haven’t disclosed to their admirers, and we wish them a happily ever after.

Araujo signed a five-year contract on the 29th of August 2018 with FC Barcelona worth €1.7 million, with €3.5 million in variables ending in the 2023 season. However, Forbes has revealed that Ronald will sign a new long-term contract with the club instead of being a free agent.
