On Saturday night, September 4, during the Made in America event in Philadelphia, Bobby Shmurda nearly got into a confrontation with a supporter.

The rapper was held by his crew when a water bottle was thrown in his path, according to TMZ. According to a source, the near-argument occurred during Megan Thee Stallion’s performance.

Before anything worse transpired, a crew member was able to remove Bobby, who is on parole and must observe severe terms, from the area.

This comes shortly after Bobby released his debut single upon his release from jail. It’s also his first release as a main artist in seven years.

Shmurda was released from New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility earlier this year after serving six years of his seven-year sentence. Bobby was arrested in 2014 and charged with a variety of crimes, including murder, attempted murder, assault, and drug trafficking. He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2016, despite the fact that he was eligible for early release due to the time he had served prior to pleading guilty and his outstanding behavior in prison.
